Oil pressure
The engine is losing oil pressure. Driving like this can ruin the engine in minutes.
Keep driving? No. Pull over safely, turn off the engine and call us.
Battery / charging
The charging system isn't working, often the alternator. The car runs on battery power and can die.
Keep driving? Only a short way. Turn off extras like the radio and A/C and come straight in.
Engine temperature
The engine is overheating, often from low coolant, a leak or a bad fan.
Keep driving? No. Pull over, turn off the engine and let it cool. Never open the radiator cap while it's hot.
Brake warning
The parking brake may be on. If it isn't, the brake fluid may be low or there's a brake problem.
Keep driving? First release the parking brake. If the light stays on or the pedal feels soft, don't drive. Call us.
ABS
The anti-lock brake system is off. Normal brakes still work, but wheels can lock in a hard stop.
Keep driving? Yes, carefully. Leave extra room to stop and get it checked soon.
Tire pressure
One or more tires are low on air. The right pressure is on the sticker inside the driver's door.
Keep driving? Carefully, to add air soon. If the light comes back, you may have a leak. Stop by.
Airbag
There's a fault in the airbag system. The airbags may not open in a crash.
Keep driving? The car drives normally, but get it checked soon for your safety.
Traction control
Flashing means the system is working on a slippery road. Staying on means it's switched off or has a fault.
Keep driving? Yes. Ease off the gas when it flashes. If it stays on, get it checked.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome. For bigger jobs like transmission or engine work, booking ahead helps us have a bay and parts ready for you.
What kinds of cars do you work on?
All of them: cars, SUVs and light trucks from every brand, whether American, Japanese, Korean or European.
How long does an oil change take?
Usually under an hour. You're welcome to wait at the shop.
Are your used tires safe?
Yes. Every used tire is inspected for tread depth and damage before we sell it, and they come with our guarantee. Ask us about the details.
Will you tell me the price before you start?
Always. We diagnose the problem, give you an estimate, and only begin the work once you approve it.
Do you do body work or painting?
No. We focus on mechanical repair and tires: everything that makes your car run, stop and steer. We don't do dents, collision repair or paint.
